TCL, a global leader in consumer electronics and the world’s No. 1 Mini LED and ultra-large TV brand, today unveils a new generation of visual technology breakthroughs and AI-powered products at CES 2026. This year, TCL introduces a series of world-first display panels, display technologies, and products, along with a full portfolio of intelligent devices designed to elevate smart living, immersive entertainment, and productivity.
A Glimpse into the Future of Displays
TCL continues to push the boundaries of display technologies that span all screen sizes, from large to small. At its CES 2026 showcase, TCL marks the global debut of its SQD-Mini LED Technology, representing a revolutionary leap in Mini LED performance. By transforming the local dimming zone of conventional Mini LEDs into Precise Dimming Series, it enables precise light control across the entire screen and delivers exceptional performance in both highlights and shadows. It also incorporates TCL's industry-leading Super QLED technology and an Ultra Color Filter Panel, achieving a longer service life, better color performance, and higher peak brightness. Furthermore, it offers a more stable global high color gamut, more precise light control, and a more refined appearance.
Also showcased is the world’s first TV powered by SQD-Mini LED technology – the TCL X11L. The TV achieves up to 100% BT.2020 All-Scene Wide Color Gamut and features CSOT’s WHVA 2.0 Ultra Panel for better color performance, higher native contrast and sharper picture quality. With up to 20,736 precise dimming zones and up to 10,000 nits, HDR content appear vivid and lifelike on this TV. The X11L also stands out with a sleek, nearly 2 cm-thinner and Virtually ZeroBorder design. For audio, it features Audio by Bang & Olufsen, offering a premium sound experience.

TCL’s collaborations with Gemini integration for Google TV and Dolby Vision 2 brings exciting upgrades to display experiences at CES 2026. Building on last year’s debut of the first “Always On” Google TV with Gemini, this year’s models will add even more intuitive ways to interact with your TV, including enhanced Google Photos search, new creative features with Nano Banana and Veo, and more. TCL also demonstrated Dolby Vision 2, the next generation of Dolby Vision, designed to deliver exceptional visual experiences through Content Intelligence, cinematic detail, and viewing environment awareness. Dolby Vision 2 is planned to be rolled out to TCL’s X and C TV lineups in 2026 via OTA updates.
Powering the Next Era of Intelligent Living
Beyond display technology, TCL presents a wide range of AI-powered smart home solutions designed to bring greater intelligence to everyday living. These include the TCL FreshIN 3.0 Air Conditioner, the GeniusFresh Refrigerator, the AmeraClassic washer and dryer series, and the TCL AI SuperDrum washer-dryer combo. In addition, TCL smart locks offer advanced biometric security, AI-driven access, and seamless smart home control, while TCL Smart Home Energy Solutions deliver an integrated and AI-driven energy ecosystem for modern households, offering end-to-end control of power conversion, battery, and energy management to reduce energy costs, enhance efficiency, and support a low-carbon lifestyle.
In entertainment, TCL leverages AI to elevate picture and sound quality, enable smarter interaction, and enhance content generation. The PlayCube Projector brings cinema-grade viewing to any environment, while TCL AiMe — the world’s first modular AI companion robot — introduces lifelike, adaptive interaction that brings a human touch to smart living.
Pioneering Partnerships that Are Shaping the Future Home
At CES 2026, TCL is also redefining the future of home design with TCL NXTHOMETM, which brings together smart home solutions, lifestyle appliances, and premium collaborations with brands including Bang & Olufsen, BMW Group Designworks Shanghai Studio and Alcantara. Also in the home, TCL ECORA™️, developed in collaboration with Chris Lefteri Design, is a new sustainable material made from recycled porcelain ceramics that combines high-performance technology with eco-conscious design.
TCL’s commitment to innovation in display technology, AI, and sustainability is shaping a smarter, more efficient future for all. As the company continues to break new ground, its technologies are not only transforming homes, but also enhancing the way people live, work, and connect – paving the way for a more intelligent tomorrow.

Jeddah University Delivers ‘A Grade’ Hybrid Learning with Nutanix Cloud Platform
Manal Saleh
Jeddah, KSA, 11th
January, 2026 – Nutanix (NASDAQ: NTNX), a leader in hybrid multicloud
computing,
today announced the successful deployment of its Nutanix Cloud Platform (NCP)
at Jeddah University, enhancing the educational institution’s classroom, lab,
and remote learning experiences while surpassing cost-saving expectations.
Jeddah University, one of Saudi Arabia’s newest
academic institutions, offers innovative programmes designed to prepare
students for leadership roles in the Kingdom’s evolving job market. Its focus
on digital learning underscores the university’s alignment with Saudi Vision
2030, which aims to establish a digitally driven, knowledge-based economy.
As one of the most modern Saudi public
universities, Jeddah University is pioneering the ‘New Saudi University
Mission’. Collaboration, innovation, and community impact underpin this
initiative, which seeks to deliver a differentiated education through the
integration of research and study. This makes virtual desktops indispensable to
students, who rely on them to attend classes, participate in labs, collaborate
with batchmates, and access learning resources in a secure and seamless manner.
When VDI-related operational costs, inconsistent
performance, and IT management complexity began to affect students’ remote
learning and research lab experiences, the University seized the opportunity to
standardise on Nutanix. “We decided to get ahead of these issues by deploying a
platform for secure, scalable, and high-performance virtual desktops. While
Nutanix’s recognition as a leader in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for seven
consecutive years was impressive, it was the overwhelmingly positive feedback
from our industry peers in Saudi Arabia that ultimately influenced our decision
to move forward,” said Mr. Hosam G. Mutir, Systems Engineer at Jeddah
University.
From the outset, Nutanix’s solution proved
effortless, integrating seamlessly with key applications used by the University
— including its Learning Management System, Student Information System, and
productivity tools such as Microsoft Office. Driven by the enhanced stability
and performance of the new environment, both student and staff productivity —
and critically, their satisfaction — have seen a significant boost. New
VDI machines can be provisioned in under 3 minutes, ensuring fast, seamless access
to academic resources as the student body grows. The implementation has cut
management overhead and operational time by over 45%, enabling IT to refocus
efforts on innovation.
“We’ve seen significant improvements across every
key metric — performance, scalability, security, and ease of management. Our
students have greatly benefitted, and operating costs have been reduced by an
incredible 40%. It’s truly remarkable,” said Mr. Mutir.
As an institution that prides itself on being one
of the most modern in the Kingdom, it’s no surprise that Jeddah University has
its gaze firmly set on the next technological horizon. Mutir emphasised that
Nutanix will continue to be a trusted partner in realising the University’s
forward-looking vision.
“We remain committed to strengthening this
partnership, particularly in the adoption of emerging technologies. Currently,
we are developing a strategic plan for GenAI and other innovative solutions.
Nutanix gives us the confidence to boldly explore new frontiers and help shape
the future of higher education in the Kingdom,” he concluded.

The CEO of the Literature, Publishing, and Translation Commission, Dr. Abdul Latif bin Abdulaziz Al-Wasel, affirmed that the commission is working to enhance the quality of life as one of the main pillars of Saudi Vision 2030. This is achieved by making culture a way of life, expanding the horizons of knowledge, and empowering individuals to contribute intellectually and culturally to the development of their society. Dr. Al-Wasel clarified that the third edition of the Writers and Readers Festival embodies this approach by offering a comprehensive cultural and entertainment experience in Taif Governorate, which holds a significant cultural standing and a rich literary heritage. It is also the first city in the Kingdom classified within UNESCO's Network of Creative Cities in the field of literature.
He added that the festival targets all segments of society through a diverse program that balances knowledge enrichment with recreational experiences, enabling visitors to gain distinctive cultural insights while enjoying leisure time suitable for all ages. He explained that these efforts are part of the Commission's commitment to anchoring culture in the public sphere, enhancing the role of literature in daily life, and fostering an interactive environment that brings together writers, readers, and thinkers.
He concluded his remarks by emphasizing that the festival aims to celebrate writers and readers as the cornerstone of the cultural production ecosystem, while also providing an interactive platform that enables creatives from within the Kingdom and abroad to engage in vibrant, creative exchange. The Literature, Publishing, and Translation Commission has allocated 20 artistic platforms, enabling artisans to showcase their products in a professional environment. There are also interactive platforms that allow visitors to listen to selected poems and musical performances, learn about the biographies and works of historical literary figures, and traverse diverse expressive worlds ranging from historical novels to the world of manga.
The commission has prepared an interactive pavilion to introduce visitors to its role in supporting the literature, publishing, and translation sectors, along with its prominent cultural initiatives, projects, and future plans. Additionally, a comprehensive children's area has been designed, featuring five main sections that offer hands on activities and innovative educational games to develop thinking skills and reinforce values. This area includes a storyteller's theater that presents meaningful stories for children in an entertaining environment aimed at building a conscious and cultured generation.
It is noteworthy that Taif is the first city in the Kingdom classified within UNESCO's Network of Creative Cities in the field of literature. This classification comes as part of the efforts of the commission to renew Taif's literary wealth, develop the publishing industry, revitalize professional translation, and host diverse and rich literary events in the city throughout the year. These efforts aim to enhance literary festivals in the Kingdom, create a nurturing environment for Saudi literature and writers to promote their literary output, discover literary talents, refine their experiences, improve their production, and market it locally, regionally, and globally.

Samsung Reimagines the Future of Design at CES 2026, Guiding Technology for Humanity
Manal Saleh
The concluding session of Samsung’s CES 2026 Tech
Forum series highlighted the human side of technology with leading designers
LAS
VEGAS — Jan. 8, 2026 — Samsung Electronics, Co., Ltd. today held the
final session in its CES 2026 Tech Forum series, “The Human Side of Tech:
Designing a Future Worth Living,” at Samsung’s The First Look space at The Wynn
Las Vegas. The panel, moderated by Debbie Millman, host of “Design Matters,”
featured Samsung Chief Design Officer Mauro Porcini and industry-leading
designers Karim Rashid and Fabio Novembre.
With minimalism
having defined the visual language of the tech industry for the past two
decades, this panel of designers convened by Samsung asked: What comes next? Together, the panelists explored how
warmer, more expressive and emotionally resonant technology can shape
meaningful experiences in today’s AI era, while also charting a path forward
for the industry.
The session covered a shared view
on the purpose of design as fundamentally people-first. “In recent years, design
in tech has been somewhat uniform,” said moderator Debbie Millman. “Compared to
other industries, the uniformity in the world of tech is an anomaly. So what if
we were to extend technology beyond specifications and functionality?”
Samsung is currently addressing
this question by introducing meaning beyond products by focusing on how
technology fits into people’s lives, experiences and needs. The panelists
discussed the growing importance of this mindset in the current landscape in
which traditional barriers to entry such as access to tools, scale and
technical capability continuing to diminish.
The Human Side of Tech
The discussion highlighted
technology’s role in making intention, care and humanity visible in everyday
life. Panelists noted that technology should help people recognize the
thoughtfulness embedded in the products they invite into their homes and
routines.
In this
context, Samsung Chief Design Officer Mauro Porcini shared Samsung’s design
purpose: to enrich the quality of people’s lives through meaningful technology
designed for humanity. He outlined the company’s commitment to help people live
longer, live better, live louder and live on through advanced technologies that
support wellbeing, creativity and self-expression.
Panelist Karim
Rashid added to this sentiment, saying, “When we think about physical things in
our world, we think not only about diversity of choice but also the fact that
we can develop strong connections to objects,” he said. “Through design, you
can end up with a very powerful, emotional connection with inanimate objects,
or even products.”
Designing for Human Values
The panel went on to explore how AI
can unlock new possibilities for expression when shaped by human values. Panelists
discussed a shared view that AI reaches its true potential when guided by Emotional
Intelligence and Human Imagination, not as a replacement for human creativity
but as a force that expands it.
CDO Porcini articulated this with
“AI × (EI + HI),” his approach to balancing Emotional Intelligence and Human
Imagination to bring meaning to innovation. While describing this philosophy,
CDO Porcini said, “When we design and develop, AI is amplified by Emotional
Intelligence and Human Imagination. “Then, when people use products, AI
amplifies Emotional Intelligence and Human Imagination.” He added, “Do not fear
technology. We are here to humanize it, guide it, and shape it.”
Through these insights, the
session reinforced the belief that technology should be humanized, guided and
shaped to serve people’s lives in increasingly new and meaningful ways.
Expressive Design Drives More Meaningful Experiences
The discussion
reinforced the importance of expressive design in bringing human-centered
purpose to life, creating experiences that reflect emotion, support
self-expression, invite connection and stimulate imagination.
“Happiness is the
aim of design,” said Fabio Novembre. “Our pursuit of happiness is through
design, making the impossible possible. I strongly believe in design, and that
it must move back to the center of the stage.”
Panelists noted that this reflects a shift from merely
designing objects to designing experiences where emotion, meaning and identity are
increasingly integral to how people relate to technology. This approach inspires
a new kind of expression, resulting in designs that range from subtle and
minimal to bold and imaginative — all meant to shape a future that isn’t just
worth living, but worth loving.

Hundreds of Thousands of Folds, Zero Worries: HUAWEI Mate X7 Redefines Real‑World Durability
Manal Saleh
Alriyadh, 7 January
2026: Folding represents a fundamental reimagining
of the smartphone experience. It has been a breath of fresh air in the world of
identical slab phones. However, until now this new revolution meant you had to
accept fragile screens, anxiety-inducing hinges, and perhaps most egregiously,
cameras that felt generations behind their non-folding counterparts. The new
HUAWEI Mate X7 takes on the task of perfecting the foldable form factor. By
marrying a variable aperture imaging system that rivals the best
"slab" flagships with a composite screen structure built for genuine
durability, Huawei has moved the conversation past novelty.
Camera
Let’s be clear, the point of a foldable phone
is not the camera. However, for most foldables, cameras are the weakest links
in the chain. For this reason, the exceptionally good imaging system on the
Mate X7 deserves Dmost attention as it sets a new benchmark for foldable
photography.
The True-to-Colour Camera captures colours
exactly as you see them. Whether it's a vibrant concert or the warm hues of
sunset, it faithfully reproduces the original colour. The main camera boasts a
super-large sensor and a 10-size Adjustable Physical Aperture, boosting light
sensitivity by 32%. Capture radiant, three-dimensional portraits even at night.
Equipped with the largest telephoto aperture on a foldable phone, light intake
is increased by 86%. The 3.5x Telephoto captures distant architectural details
with clarity. No matter the subject, photos always look their best.
Video optimisations allow users to record
professional-level 4K videos authentic colours and deep details. Besides, the
high dynamic range sees a 21-fold increase over the previous generation
achieving a dynamic range of up to a whopping 17.5EV, more than many cinema
cameras. What made this feat possible the integration of the True-to-Colour
Camera, combined with the 2nd-Gen LOFIC sensor.
Durability and performance
Both the outer and inner screen of the Mate X7
feature enhanced protection. On the outer screen, the Ultra Durable Armour
Kunlun Glass achieves a significant leap in wear and drop resistance. The inner
screen features an industry-first 3-layer Composite Structure consisting of a
non-newtonian fluid protection layer, an ultra thin glass impact-resistant layer,
and a carbon fiber support layer. Huawei has overcome the industry's key
challenges foldable screens of potential fragility, creasing, and premature
aging. Compared with the previous generation, impact resistance has been
increased by 20%, and bending resistance has been increased by 100%, making the
screen exceptionally resilient to bending and impact.
Additionally, rated IP58 and IP59 for dust and
water resistance ensures reliability in high-temperature environments, and
prolonged exposure to direct sunlight in desert climates. It is also designed
to perform reliably for outdoor activities and in dusty environments
Packing a large-capacity 5,600mAh
Silicon-Carbon Anode Battery, the Mate X7 is ready for a full day's use on a
single charge. Besides, the 66W wired SuperCharge and 50W wireless SuperCharge
means you can fill up the battery in no time when it’s time for a recharge. To
ensure sustained performance under demanding loads, the phone has a SuperCool
Ultra-Large VC & Graphene Heat Dissipation system.
Unmatched large screen experience
Featuring a 6.49-inch LTPO outer screen with a
resolution of 2444 x 1080, and an 8-inch inner screen boasting an
ultra-high-resolution of 2416 x 2210, the dual displays work in harmony to
render incredible detail. The HUAWEI Mate X7 is equipped with Huawei's X-True™
Display technology. The outer screen achieves a peak brightness of 3,000 nits,
while the inner screen reaches 2,500 nits, both supporting a 1-120Hz adaptive
refresh rate.
Equally impressive are all the AI powered
features that take advantage of the large canvas, particularly in photography.
The AI Remove tool eliminates distractions and generatively fills the void to
rescue otherwise unusable shots. Meanwhile, AI Best Expression ensures perfect
group photos by synthesizing the ideal facial expressions from a series of
images, creating a single, flawless composite. Beyond imaging, the device
bridges communication gaps with Face-to-Face Translation. This feature delivers
real-time speech interpretation, proving invaluable for international travel
and cross-border business meetings.
All Apps are there
AppGallery is a well-developed app ecosystem
with millions of apps available for download, and all world range top apps can
be found on AppGallery. After a long period of using Huawei mobile and now with
the new HUAWEI Mate X7, almost all apps that you need to use in your life can
be downloaded and used properly.
You no longer have to sacrifice flagship
performance for a futuristic form factor. The HUAWEI Mate X7 has set the bar so
high for foldables in terms of durability and cameras and now the rest of the
industry now has to chase.
The HUAWEI Mate X7 is now available for
pre-order in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia starting at 6999 SAR with valuable
gifts through Huawei online store and several authorized retailers.

transferred into the NISMO car lineup,
reinforcing the brand’s performance credibility and emotional appeal. Nissan
will continue to challenge itself in series including Super Taikyu, while
expanding into new types of racing.
From fiscal year 2026, Nissan plans to introduce
prototype vehicles for racing activities to accelerate technological

Galaxy Book6 Ultra and Pro have increased the size of their
fins, thin metal components attached to the vapor chamber that increase
surface area and allow air from the fan to carry heat away. By expanding the
surface area, heat is transferred and released more effectively, improving
cooling efficiency by 35%[4] compared to the previous generation.
·
The re-engineered fan has an optimized angle that
releases heat quickly and efficiently, a larger inlet grill that improves
airflow by allowing more heat to be expelled through the fan, and Samsung’s proprietary
uneven blade spacing technology, which minimizes fan noise.
Performance combines powerful capability
with long-lasting battery life, so Samsung designed Galaxy Book6 to deliver the
lasting power required for truly seamless, all-day operation. More efficient power management extends
real-world usage, giving users extra time to stay productive and connected,
wherever the day takes them.
·
Engineered with Samsung’s
longest-lasting Galaxy Book battery yet, Galaxy Book6 Ultra and Pro series deliver
up to 30 hours[5] of video playback,
extending everyday usage by approximately five
additional hours compared to the previous generation.
·
Super-fast charging on Galaxy Book6 Ultra restores up to 63%
of battery life in just 30 minutes, so users can plug in during a quick
coffee break and power through hours of meetings, classes or creative work
without slowing down.
The screen is what users engage with all
day long, which is why Galaxy Book6 Ultra and Pro introduce a significantly upgraded
display that delivers vivid, high-contrast visuals with exceptional clarity in
any lighting, minimizing glare while maintaining rich detail and depth.
·
With an HDR peak brightness of up to 1000
nits, the advanced Dynamic AMOLED 2X display[6] with touch screen offers clear contrast and vivid color indoors or outdoors, while an
SDR peak brightness of 500 nits ensures exceptional
clarity for everyday tasks. Users can easily interact with the touch screen and
can edit content directly on the screen
·
Vision Booster[7] intelligently adapts the
display to outdoor environments by analyzing ambient lighting and on-screen
content, enhancing visibility and color accuracy even in bright sunlight.
Combined with advanced anti-reflective technology that minimizes glare, it
ensures clearer, more comfortable viewing experiences wherever you are.
·
True Bright 1300[8] certification ensures the
display achieves perceived brightness levels that enhance clarity and vibrancy,
while the True Black 0.0005 nits enables real black levels for immersive
viewing — perfect for creative work, entertainment and productivity.
·
Corning® Gorilla® Glass with DXC[9] enhances durability with
improved drop and scratch resistance, while reducing front-surface reflection
by up to 75% compared to standard glass. This advanced glass composite ensures
improved viewing clarity even in bright environments while maintaining the
renowned resilience of Gorilla Glass for long-lasting performance.
A truly complete PC experience balances
striking visuals with powerful, high-quality sound. To
match their displays, Samsung equipped Galaxy Book6 Ultra and Pro with optimized
speaker placement that delivers balanced sound, keeping voices clear during
meetings and classes and bringing rich, immersive bass to movies and gaming.
·
A balanced, back-to-back woofer design in Galaxy Book6
Ultra cancels vibration to reduce distortion, keeping sound clean and the
laptop stable, even at higher volumes.
·
Across both Galaxy Book6 Ultra and Galaxy Book6 Pro 16, up-firing
tweeters enhances clarity and openness for calls and dialogue, while side-firing
woofers produce deeper, more dynamic bass, adding impact to music and
entertainment.
Slim
and Balanced All the Way
Samsung’s
hardware heritage is reflected in a design in which performance is matched with
purposeful craftsmanship, resulting in slim, premium PCs built for everyday
versatility. Every
element down to the smallest unseen detail has been thoughtfully engineered to
achieve harmonious balance and effortless usability.
·
Through reconfigured
internal and external components — including a wider vapor chamber, thinner
fan, redesigned display structure, refined bezels and a
precision-engineered hinge — Galaxy Book6 Ultra and Galaxy Book6 Pro 16” achieve
a noticeably slimmer profile that’s sleek, portable and easier to carry
throughout the day. Galaxy Book6 Ultra measures just 15.4mm, delivering a 1.1mm
reduction in thickness[10] compared to Galaxy Book4 Ultra.
Galaxy Book6 Pro 16” measures just 11.9mm, delivering a 0.6mm reduction in
thickness compared to Galaxy Book5 Pro 16”.
·
The centrally
designed two-tone keyboard[11]
and haptic touch trackpad create
visual balance while enhancing comfort for hand placement and enabling precise
fingertip control. This ensures smooth navigation and a consistent typing
experience, enhancing usability and allowing users to type naturally and
effortlessly while minimizing the occurrence of typos.
·
Galaxy Book6
series’ internal design is organized, clean and well-balanced. Through
meticulous engineering, Samsung’s redesigned PCB layout distributes
space and weight more evenly to support a slimmer profile, stable performance
and long-term reliability.
All-Day
Productivity and Connectivity With Galaxy AI
All-day productivity powered by AI requires speed, stability and
sustained performance. Galaxy Book6 combines high-powered computing with Galaxy
AI[12] to deliver fast and intuitive
experiences that effortlessly span on-device and cloud-based intelligence. The
result is smart tools that feel instant, reliable and ready to keep up from
morning to night.
·
AI Select[13] allows users to easily select
any text using their fingertips on a touchscreen and instantly get helpful information and insights while
browsing, shopping or viewing content online. And with AI cut out, users can
now instantly cut out backgrounds from images, making it easy to prepare
high-quality visuals for presentations, e-commerce listings or marketing
materials.
·
Search[14]
becomes
easier using natural language, Galaxy AI understands users’ intention, users
can simply describe the content they’re looking for and quickly locate it —
whether it’s a photo from a family vacation, adjusting settings or a file from
two weeks ago.
·
Note Assist[15] enhances writing and
note-taking by summarizing text and translating notes into multiple languages, ideal
for quickly organizing ideas after meetings or converting notes into another
language for collaboration with global teams.
·
Storage Share[16]
permits seamless access to photos and
files across Galaxy devices, so users can open photos stored on their Galaxy
phone and edit them on Galaxy Book6’s larger screen without the need to use
cables or external drives.
·
Link to Windows[17] brings phone apps, messages and
notifications to Galaxy Book6’s larger display for more comfortable and
efficient multitasking. For example, users can capture a photo on their Galaxy
phone, refine it with Generative Edit and continue making edits on their
PC. Or they can use Live Translate during calls or chats, and translated
content can then be reviewed comfortably on their laptop’s larger screen.
·
Nearby Devices[18] allows users to see devices at a
glance and easily connect them with drag and drop to check available features
right away. For example,
during a meeting, users can quickly link their Galaxy Book6 to a Galaxy Tab or
Galaxy smartphone to share files, mirror screens, or control devices together
easily — unlocking seamless collaboration and productivity.
·
Multi Control[19] allows a single cursor to move across
Galaxy Book6, phone and tablet, empowering effortless copy, paste and drag-and-drop
between devices. Users can pull a photo from their phone or text from their
Galaxy Tab and drop them directly into a presentation on their PC — perfect for
working quickly and efficiently.
·
Second Screen[20]
lets users expand their workspace
instantly for added flexibility, such as by pulling up and viewing research on a
Galaxy Tab while editing a document on Galaxy Book6.18

HONOR Magic8 Pro: The Flagship That Delivers on Every Front
Manal Saleh
Riyadh,
Saudi Arabia – 06 January 2026 – For years, smartphone
conversations have focused on cameras especially how well a device performs at
night. And while the HONOR Magic8 Pro sets a new
benchmark with its 200MP AI Ultra Night Telephoto, limiting the narrative to
night photography undersells what this device truly represents. Its real
strength is bigger, broader, and built for the creators of today.
Whether
you are capturing a sunrise skyline, filming your friends at the beach,
shooting products for a small business, or vlogging at night, HONOR Magic8 Pro
delivers clarity, natural color, and depth across every setting because its
camera system is engineered to perform with the same precision in every moment.
That completeness is what elevates it from “great camera phone” to true
flagship.
But
focusing only on its camera overlooks what makes it a true flagship. HONOR
Magic8 Pro is engineered for people who live fast, multitask often, create on
the move, and rely on their device to keep up with an unpredictable day. Speed,
power, endurance, and intelligence come together so effortlessly that the phone
simply becomes part of the user’s rhythm.
Performance
That Moves With You
At
the heart of HONOR Magic8 Pro’s speed is the Snapdragon® 8 Elite Gen 5, a
chipset built to transforms the way the device feels in real use. Everything is
immediate. Everything is fluid.
Apps
launch the moment you tap them. Heavy tasks like video editing, 3D gaming, and
rapid-fire content creation run with remarkable stability. Even with multiple
apps open in the background, the device keeps its momentum without hesitation.
Streaming stays smooth, transitions stay crisp, and AI-powered features work
the instant you activate them.
What
stands out most is its consistency. There is no slowdown over time, no stutter
when switching between tasks, and no sense of the device struggling to keep up.
The Snapdragon® 8 Elite Gen 5 ensures every interaction feels aligned with your
pace-fast when you need power, subtle when you need finesse, and reliable
through even the busiest days. This is performance designed for a new
generation of creators and multitaskers, where speed is an expectation.
Battery
Life That Understands Busy Days
Today’s
creators like predictability. They are shooting almost constantly. From early
content runs to mid-day meetings, from café edits to sunset shots, from
spontaneous behind-the-scenes moments to nighttime planning, their day rarely
slows, and their phone shouldn’t either.
That’s
why HONOR Magic8 Pro comes with a 7100mAh HONOR silicon–carbon battery, one of
the largest and most advanced batteries ever placed in a flagship smartphone.
It is built for long, demanding days, delivering the kind of endurance that
removes uncertainty entirely. No checking the battery percentage every hour. No
adjusting habits to make it last. No worrying whether it can survive the final
edit. Just steady, reliable power that carries you from morning to midnight
with confidence.
And
when a recharge is finally needed, 100W wired and 80W wireless HONOR
SuperCharge transform minutes into meaningful hours of use. A quick top-up
before heading out, or a short charge during a break, is more than enough to
fuel the rest of your day.
This
is power designed around real routines, dependable, effortless, and always
ready for whatever comes next.

AI
That Makes Everyday Life Smoother
HONOR
Magic8 Pro introduces a new level of AI intelligence, one that works quietly,
naturally, and always in service of the user. Every feature is designed to

you use most. Whether it’s opening the camera, AI Screen Suggestions, AI
Settings Agent, or Google Lens, your phone responds the moment you need it.
With
Magic Color, edits become effortless. One tap is all it takes to refine an
image with clean, natural tones, perfect for creators who want polished results
without spending time on complex editing apps.
AI
Search makes finding anything on your device incredibly simple. A quick,
conversational prompt is enough to locate photos, files, messages, screenshots,
and more without endless scrolling.
Meanwhile,
the AI Settings Agent accepts commands through text or voice. It interprets the
user’s intent and responds with both on-screen text and spoken feedback. Based
on the request, it either performs the action directly using a functional card
or guides the user to the appropriate settings page for manual adjustment.
And
with Google Gemini built in, everyday tasks like writing, planning,
researching, or organizing become faster, clearer, and more intuitive. You feel
the intelligence in how effortlessly everything works.
Together,
these AI features remove friction from everyday phone use and make HONOR Magic8

Every
part of the HONOR Magic8 Pro reflects a deep understanding of how people live
