The AlThahabis have spent decades building a name synonymous with wealth, status and influence in Riyadh. But when their fortune disappears overnight, there’s one thing they refuse to lose… their reputation.

In Netflix’s new comedy Crazy Rich Incredibly Broke, the AlThahabi family suddenly find themselves poor, but admitting it is simply not an option. With their company’s finances crumbling behind the scenes, they commit to keeping up appearances at any cost. What begins as a carefully managed show soon becomes increasingly wild and elaborate, as the family goes to extraordinary lengths to convince everyone that absolutely nothing has changed. Somewhere between the designer clothes they can no longer afford, questionable schemes and increasingly difficult lies, something unexpected happens. Bonds deepen, relationships strengthen and, as their situation becomes impossible to ignore, the AlThahabis find themselves rallying together to come up with a plan that could save more than just the family name.
