Side by side work,
image review and content creation make the practical benefits of Samsung’s
foldable designs easier to assess
A phone’s price becomes easier to assess when
customers can see what it brings to everyday use. With Galaxy foldables, the
larger display provides room to review a document alongside notes or compare an
original photo with an edited version before saving it. These recurring uses
give customers a practical way to assess what they get for their money and
choose the device that best meets their needs.
Samsung’s foldables provide different ways to use that
space. Galaxy Z Fold8 combines a shorter, wider design with a 4:3 main display,
while Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra offers an 8-inch main display. The two designs give
customers a choice of proportions for the content and work they handle on a
phone.
For tasks involving several sources of information,
Multi Window on the Fold models allows supported apps to appear side by side. A
user can consult a document while taking notes or keep a reference visible
while working in another app. The practical advantage is having related
information in one view, subject to app compatibility.
For reading and entertainment during a commute, a
break or a trip, Galaxy Z Fold8’s display proportions provide room for
articles, video and games. At 201 g, it is the lightest Galaxy Z Fold to date,
balancing a larger viewing space with a device designed to be carried to work,
university or on a journey.
Photography and content creation provide another use
for the format. Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra’s 200 MP main camera captures
high-resolution images, while its larger display gives users space to review
the detail. Photo Assist allows edits through text prompts and provides an
on-screen comparison between the original image and the result before a copy is
saved.
In a video recorded at an event or gathering, My
FanCam can track a selected person and reframe the video around them. Dual
Recording captures the scene and the user’s reaction through the front and rear
cameras at the same time. Both features are available across Galaxy Z Fold8,
Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Flip8.
Certain Galaxy AI features require a Samsung account
and a network connection. Availability varies by device, country, language and
software version, and users should review AI-generated or edited results.
Testing the tools relevant to their own activities and checking the
requirements helps customers make an informed comparison.
In Saudi Arabia, Samsung.com lists starting prices of
SAR 7,399 for Galaxy Z Fold8 and SAR 8,199 for Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, each with 256 GB of storage. Prices include VAT and
are before any trade-in value is applied. For current prices and purchasing
