Dammam, Saudi Arabia : In a rare moment of heartfelt recognition, Lulu Group Chairman M.A. Yusuff Ali 

 honored a long-serving Saudi employee for completing his Bachelors in Business Administration while working full time, a gesture that’s now inspiring employees across the Kingdom.


Zaid Battal Al-Subaiee, who joined Lulu in 2009 as a security supervisor, recently earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from King Faisal University, Al Ahsa. Over 17 years, he rose through the company’s ranks to become a Regional Administration Manager.


The commendation came during the grand opening of Lulu’s new hypermarket in Dammam, where Yusuffali called Zaid’s achievement a model of determinationand a source of pride for the entire organization.




“I couldn’t have done it without Lulu’s encouragement and support,” said Zaid.  His 17-year career path is a testament to both resilience and opportunity.


Lulu has long positioned itself as a supporter of local talent and education-driven empowerment.
